  6. I feel like an idiot.. as if I was brain washed now that I know what it means. my mother use to say if I said a hundred times my true wish would come true and now that I know it means I feel like that is brainwashing even if it is true that god is that I should say it in my own words not repeat it over and over mindlessly for my own desires it like I was bribing god for what I want. Gah! this is not right! why was this created I don't understand anymore!

  14. Even if your fame has spread in all directions because of your charity and there is nothing in the whole world that you can’t obtain…But, if your mind is not attached to the Lotus Feet of your Guru then What is the use? What is theuse? What is the use?and
    What is the use.

YASHO ME GATTAM DHIKSHU DHAANA PRATAAPAATH
    JAGADVASTU SARVAM KARE YATPRASAADAATH
MANASCHE NA LAGNAM GURO RANGHRI PADME,
TATAH KIM, TATAH KIM, TATAH KIM, TATAH KIM…

  15. Such few words and yet in a way it explains almost everything! This is beautiful to say the least. I am sure being a non-sikh, almost an atheitist, I appreciate it as much as a true believer of Sikhism.

  29. AS per my thinking prayer always works.... simple if you want any thing you force your parents.... same god is our parents.... if you want anything you must have to prayer .... prayer means is not that you are begging for anything ...its mean that you are requesting for some thing you god parents......but forsure god prayer just open your mind and you got a new path and a mental energy or ahope. You just follow a good path and do hardwork to your dreams..... god always judge you first that is your wish havent hurting to anyone..... second name of god is truth, and your belief.... god is a sound of your soul....

  32. Thanks for the translation. Now i know the meaning. I don't know the Punjabi language. Opposite my home there is an Ashram. Every morning i woke up hearing the Gurbani. It sounded so peaceful and relaxing. Sadly they (the Acharya ji and Swami ji at the ashram) have stopped playing the Gurubani after an old woman complained of sound pollution. :( i do miss it.

    Kind regards
